Training academy

As certified AKC trainers, we offer training for our puppies with limited spots available. Our training program includes keeping your puppy for 8 weeks after your puppy's scheduled pick up day for daily training. Training includes working towards the A.K.C. Star Puppy Program, and kennel/home training.  Please email us with any questions, or to check availability. Puppies are raised indoors ONLY; price includes food.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy (Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsibility) is the perfect place to start your puppy. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training classes teach the foundation for basic functional skills such as sit, down and come and provide the opportunity to socialize with other puppies and people.  Kennel training and indoor training help make the transition for you and your puppy a lot easier.  Training starts on the scheduled puppy pick up day for 8 weeks.  An explanation of the learned commands will be given to the new owner upon pick up when the training is completed.  The cost for the training is $2,250* per month and 1/2 would be due at the beginning of the 1st 4 week period and the balance would be due at the start of the 2nd 4 week period.  Invoices are sent via email with payment links.  Training slots are limited, so please contact us for current availability via email.  cadronridgelabradors@gmail.com

*This price reflects training ONLY- vaccinations, vet visits, AKC STAR puppy testing/certification fees apply.

Your puppy will receive the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Medal (for display or memento purposes; not suitable as a collar tag). You and your puppy will be listed in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records. In addition, so that you can continue learning, you’ll receive our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy package that includes:


  • A beautiful, frameable certificate designating your puppy is in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records at AKC

  • Ongoing Monthly Email Newsletter: Your AKC. This includes training tips and up-to-date information every dog owner needs to know. We want you and your puppy to continue learning beyond puppy classes.

 After the AKC STAR puppy program, your puppy will be ready to work towards their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title. This will require them to stay for additional time to receive further training to prepare for the test. Puppies at this level will go home titled with AKC. Please contact for more details.
